  1. Does my recovery partition need to be updated if I’m running ML 10.8.2 and my recovery partition is 10.8.1?

    • Hi Michael

      No, you don’t need (and shouldbn’t try) to do anything with the Recovery partition. It doesn’t update with the .point updates. It is basically there so that you can restore the system from scratch. If you ever have to do that, it’ll reinstall ML 10.8.1, and then you would use software update to bring the system up to the latest version.

  2. How do you update the recovery partition? Right now, when booting using the Option key, I see the usual two options of booting from ML or Recovery 10.8.1.

    Yet, I’m running 10.8.2.
