Who am I?

I am a technical communicator specialising in writing help, tutorials and documentation for software products that run on Mac OS, iOS, and X11, and I’m particularly interested in cross-platform software that needs Mac-specific documentation. I also advise on Mac usability, software architecture and design issues for ported software interfaces. If you are:

— developing Apple-compliant products

— developing Apps for App Store, iBook or other Apple delivery systems

— need in-app help, pdf documentation, video tutorials or software manuals

— need to understand Mac software architecture for porting your App to Mac

please use the Contact page to tell me more about your requirements, get a quote, and discuss timelines to delivery.

I use the Apple style guide for all documentation and guarantee compliance with all Apple and Apple App store design requirements.

I have seven years experience working with Apple products. I am member of the UK’s professional body for technical communicators, the ISTC (Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators), and I am currently pursuing an MA in Technical Communication at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
